India Culture and Economy

January 5th, 2018

We started off sight seeing Old Delhi. Visiting Chandi Chowk, Red Fort and Raj Ghat. It was amazing to experience pieces of history. It's not everyday you get to go halfway around the world and see such amazing places but,  when you get a chance to you appreciate it. I enjoy being immersed in other cultures and getting to see how others live. The little things and even waiting on line, the foods, the routines everything makes up a great experience. Later we visited Incuspaze. Incuspaze is a business that provides a much needed service to entrepreneurs. Incupaze provides entrepreneurs a space to network and run their business operations at a cheaper rate then on their own. I myself am very interested in entrepreneurship so naturally I was very excited to see how they operate. It is great to see that innovation and entrepreneurship is valued India. Seventy percent of the Indian economy is made up of mom and pop shops and small business. The government also supports start ups as India has one of the fastest growing economies. Lastly, Incuspaze helps facilitate that growth and promote ideas that will continue to be good for India as a whole. Today was not only a solid cultural experience but, opened my eyes in terms of how businesses in India work as well.
