Rainforest in Costa Rica

      Costa Rica is animal paradise because there are a lot of different kinds of animals especially in rainforest. The population of animals in the rain forest is very massive. However if you do not put in effort to look for the animals you will not see them. After lunch, we began to explore the rainforest in Costa Rica. There is a small park in the rainforest, and there are many kinds of butterflies. There is a kind of butterfly which is named Morpho. Morpho butterflies are normal when they fold its wings, but its wings are sky blue and dark blue after they unfold its wings. After we left the park, we continued to explore the rainforest. I saw so many ants in a perfect line and moving together. Many of those ants carried something to move, such as, food and leaves. We also saw many kinds of frogs. Some frogs are pretty tiny, so sometimes I could not find their location very quickly. This was my first time to see red color and other color’s frogs. I realized how amazing nature can be. Nature is hidden. You have to explore it to discover it. Furthermore, the rainforest collects many kinds of snakes in the world. Some kinds of snakes are very long running up to 2 meters. There is a kind of snake which is very dangerous, and the guider told us that few of his coworkers were dead because of the snake. Then, we started to learn about plants. Mimose is one of my favorite plants, and some people named this plant as “do not touch me”. When something touched this mimose, it will close its leaves. It was a wonderful trip to know about the nature.
