Friday, January 4th: Arrival to Paris
Bonjour! Today is our first day in Paris with the Global Business Study Group. Unfortunately, our flight was delayed and we arrived in Paris later than expected at around 1:30 pm. We immediately grabbed our bags and took on the day. We were greeted by our tour guide, Christian, who led us on to a coach bus and we did a guided of Paris.
We went all across the city as Christian explained the history of Paris, seeing sights such as the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triumph, the Notre Dame, and more. Paris is a very beautiful city and I really enjoyed listening to Christian speak about the culture, people, and the length history they have as a city, all the way back to the BC era, the Medieval Times, the World Wars, and modern day.
Tonight we will have a welcome dinner at Chez Bruno as a group and will discuss our very exciting week ahead!
