Italy, Rome: From Spanish Steps to Trevi Dreams

DAY 1: Arriving in Rome on December 28th, we made a beeline for Hotel Casa La Salle. After dropping off our luggage, our exploration began at the iconic Spanish Steps— a renowned landmark celebrated for its sweeping staircase and lively ambiance. En route to the Steps, we made a detour to Collegio San Giuseppe- Istituto De Merode, a prestigious Catholic school in Campo Marzio affiliated with the Brothers of the Christian Schools. Known for its esteemed reputation, Collegio San Giuseppe- Istituto De Merode added a touch of educational charm to our journey. In the afternoon, we found ourselves captivated by the mesmerizing Trevi Fountain, a true masterpiece of Baroque art. The day concluded with a delightful dinner featuring my inaugural taste of authentic Italian Margherita pizza in Aurelio Nord, marking the beginning of my culinary escapades in Rome.
