I went to Versailles and it was honestly way crazier than I expected.
The gardens are huge and everything is so perfectly shaped that it doesn’t even feel real.
The weather kept switching between sunny and cloudy the whole time, but it actually made it better. It felt less like a perfect tourist day and more real.
It was also really different from Paris, way quieter, more open, and just calmer overall.
I started the day sitting outside with coffee, which is something I’ve been doing a lot more here. People really take their time, and I’m trying to get used to that.
Honestly, my favorite part wasn’t even anything specific, just walking around and taking it all in.
