Perspective, the life you are rushing through, is the life someone else ran out of time to live. So as I slow down this summer and catch up with myself, I realize how fortunate I really am. Not just to be here on Earth, but to be living in a city where change is such a defining factor. The birthplace of the Renaissance, where people were confident to change and share their thoughts, where their ideas still affect us today, and their art still amazes new people daily. The importance of change in life is something that can not be downplayed, even though change feels hard sometimes. However, we must always be prepared for change, as there are few things certain in life.
