This picture may seem really insignificant but it is actually the exact bed that William Shakespeare used to lay his head on in his youth. That's right, William SHAKESPEARE!! Yesterday we literally went into Shakespeare's childhood home. The wildest part is that it's been virtually untouched since he lived there when he was young. His house is situated in Stratford on Avon which is also a very lovely little town in England. This trip has really let us go exploring to other cities and towns besides London which I think is lovely because it is interesting to visit other places that have not really been modernized yet. One of the places we visited was in Oxford. This is called Christ Church, which was the great hall in the Harry Potter Series. This was crazy for me because I am literally one of the biggest Harry Potter fans in the entire world. Like I literally can quote Harry Potter, that's besides the point though.
We have also done a day trip to Bath, which might be my favorite part of the trip so far besides the Church. Bath was interesting because it was  one of Jane Austen's main inspirations for the book Northanger Abbey, which we are reading in our English class right now.
Bath was literally named for the Baths the originated there as a way for the British people to bathe themselves. Now it is not used as such, but is a beautiful picture.
