Imagine living in a city over 1,000 years old, rich in history and culture with amazing food and friendly people. That my friends, is Florence. From the stunning Duomo cathedral and medieval palazzos to the smells and tastes of delicious pizza or Bistecca Fiorentina, it is a blessing to be immersed in the Florentine lifestyle. The spectacular views are endless just like the ever flowing bottles of wine. Quaint pubs and cafes set the most wonderful romantic atmosphere. Shopping is abundant as well as entertainment. Florence is buzzing with life, something I am forever grateful to have experienced. I am also thankful for the Mark family for their generous scholarship. Florence will forever be home away from home, grazie mille Firenze. Arrivederci!
