Today we had a later awakening time this morning. So far most of the days we departed from the hotel around 9 am but today we left the hotel at 10:00 am. We visited the Singapore hotel where we got to explore around until 1 pm. The airport in Singapore isn’t anything like our airports in the States. While ours is strictly gates, terminals, TSA, and some food areas the airport in Singapore has so much more. It’s more of an attraction but it is still an airport. All the fun stuff is before customs and security. The airport had restaurants, many shops, places to play games, and much more. We got to watch the massive waterfall start up in the center of the airport. The area this waterfall was in made you feel like you were in a jungle because there were so many trees and streams of water. Being at the airport made me realize how even the most basic place in any country can be vastly culturally different.
After we explored and ate at the airport, we made our way to a company called Secret Lab. A well known company in the gaming world because they make gaming chairs, desks, and accessories for these items. Their HQ and RND center is only in Singapore and they do not have any retail stores in the world. They only sell domestically and sell online for E-Commerces. Secret Lab has partnered with many game brands and Animes such as: Overwatch, Mortal Kombat, Naruto, Minecraft, etc. Even though they are known as a gaming chair and desk company their targeted market isn’t only gamers but really everyone. People that are Doctors, businessmen, and every day people use their products. We got to sit in an exclusive and only one made Lamborghini gaming chair made with carbon fiber which is used in the actual car.
After our business trip with Secret Lab we went to Orchard Road. Orchard Road is a long street with multiple malls and shopping centers that can connect underground. We all broke up and did our own thing. Some of us ate and tried the food while others did some shopping.
