A Weekend In Sardegna!

Hi all,

It's me again! I hope all is well in New York or wherever you are reading from! This past weekend I was in Cagliari, Italy! Cagliari is located in the south of Sardinia, a little island off the coast of Italy!

We were blessed with warm weather and were able to go on a boat and sit on the beach for a while too! We saw flamingos and walked around the town!

First, we had a very early wake-up. Our day started at 4:30am! We took a train at 5am to get to the airport by 5:30am. I actually was very surprised when we got there the security line wait was only 2 min! After we got to the airport, we got a coffee and a Cornetto (croissant) and waited to board our plane!

Our plane was so fast, like 45 minutes. It felt like by the time we got in the air our plane was descending again!

On our first day, we walked around the city and saw the Bastion of Saint Remy and the Cathedral of Cagliari!

And we had the best dinner! Pasta with Lobster! Since we were on an island the lobster was so fresh!

The next day we went on our boat tour and saw flamingos!

This is known as Crocodile Island!

I still can't get over the water, it was so clear and absolutely breathtaking! It was so clear we saw jellyfish, I am a little sad we couldn't go in because it was soooo cold!
